Our DSS-3 series pull down systems are designed for teams and shops needing the precision of variable speed controls and high load wheel scales.  The DSS-3 control panel offers our standard variable speed, joystick controls with an optional data acquisition package.  The data package includes a backlit control panel screen which can display shock travels and other sensor readings.

 

Variable speed is important when bump stop or coil bind style set-ups.  With these set-ups, a few thousandths of an inch can increase wheel load by hundreds of pounds, easily the difference of gaining grip and loosing it.

 

DSS-3 systems utilize our popular portable design, but may also be used as permanent systems without the beams when a surface plate is available.  The DSS-3 scale stands are billet aluminum and designed to be extremely rigid.  The integrated high load, dual load cell/4500lb capacity per wheel, scales utilize a large 16" wheel platform.

 

Quick Release Roll Off Platforms are optional with the standard packages and included with the master packages.  Scale roll offs are not required, but handy.  All systems utilize our PFTE based slip plates to remove tire bind and keep the suspension relaxed.

 

DSS-3 system controls are housed in a rolling tool and system storage cart.  Heavy Duty cables are standard.  Wireless scales and wired remote control are optional.
